Bone To Pick

People have bad days. I get it.

I have bad days too, although now I'm shortening them to bad moments because sometimes it's just not worth it to make it ruin my entire day.

But what I hate is when an innocent person has to get the brunt of it because you're too much of a fucker to just deal with the issue or with the person who is pissing you off in the first place. I hate it when an innocent person has to get the second-hand blow-up just because you suppress your feelings at first.

I am that innocent person.

I asked my secretary if she had a stapler that I could borrow to staple two pieces of paper together. She told me (with a huge sarcastic smile on her face) that she has work to do too and that she can't keep doing things for "you people." And then she ended it with "NO MORE!" and gave me a kind of finger wave as if she were scolding me.

This is the first time that I've asked her for something. You'd think I asked for a fucking kidney. Honestly, I don't know who was up her ass bugging her, but I got the shit end of the stick. For one fucking staple that needed to bind two pieces of paper together.

Needless to say, I felt this big and could sense my face burning up. But, I didn't let it ruin my entire day. And the reason I am writing about it now is because I want all my readers to know that if you have an issue or are pissed about something, please don't unload it onto someone who just needs to use a fucking stapler (or whatever).

I can tell you this ... I'm never asking her for anything again.

You know what? I'm busy too. But I won't fucking snap at you if you need something from me. It's just decency and courtesy and it's sad that some people forget what that is.

RANT OVER.
