So I have this friend who is having some troubles in her relationship.
It was amazing in the beginning (back in Septemberish). She actually giggled uncontrollably when I would ask how they were doing. It made me not know what to do ... so I just looked at her weirdly with a half-smirk and was all like, "Ok, relax. It was just a question."
It was cute. She was hopeful and I saw her spiralling into him. It was nice to see because dammit it gives me hope to see couples falling so hard for eachother.
Well, I suppose the falling has stopped because the SPLAT can be heard from miles away.
Anyways, she was telling me a bit about what was going on with the situation, and she told me that in their phone conversation, they were discussing an issue and his counter-argument to her was, "Why you trippin'?"
Okay. If a guy ever said that to me during a serious conversation I'm pretty sure that I would break up with him then and there.
Why you trippin.

PS - Are report cards really that necessary?

I agree! I always imagine someone saying that phrase when they are high. I know...it's dumb but it's what hops into my head.

and report cards? i never paid attention to them, but i suppose they're nice for the kids who need the motivation to get back on track or to maintin their grades. However I dont agree when parents pay their kids for good grades.

One time when I was a teenager, my mom and I were arguing about something (as all teen girls and their mothers do constantly), and in the middle of it, serious as a heart attack, she said, "Nuh uh! Homey don't play that!" (like on In Living Color). I just burst out laughing. She was not amused.
