Thought Of The Day

I am now an alumnus (alumni?) of four different post-secondary institutions.

Becoming an alumnus (alumni?) means that I am now sent spam aka their alumnus (alumni?) magazine several times a year.

So I get FOUR different magazines. Several times a year.

Magazines that I skim through, if that.

And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only alumnus (alumni?) who graduated from these institutions as they are some of the largest of the country.

That's a lot of magazines in a year that I don't read.

A lot of paper.

And I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only alumnus (alumni?) who doesn't read those magazines.

In such a digital society, don't you think it would be more helpful to the environment if all that paper wasn't consumed? That's a lot of wasted paper in a year.

I wonder why no one has thought to just post the magazines on line.

Just a thought.
