Here Comes The Bride?

Her dreams are telling. They spark excitement. Brings to life gossip of a specific nature.

She can predict the birth of a child, simply by laying her head on her pillow and falling into a deep slumber.

The dream? The soon-to-be-mommy walking through a door. That's it.

Sometimes the person she dreamt about will not even know that they are expecting until she has told them about her dream. They'll find out later and will go to her wondering if she's some sort of psychic.

One time? The person she encountered already knew that she was expecting but had not told anyone because she was waiting for the three month mark. When she was told about the dream, she just smiled politely, exclaiming that she was not pregnant. She didn't want to give herself away.

So, anytime she dreams that you are walking through a door, you are with child, whether you know it or not.

Today, right before our bootcamp session, she came right up to me.

"I had a dream about you."

Whoa. I immediately put my hands up in the air as if to say, "I didn't do it!"

"Before you say anything further, I'll have you know that I'm not having sex, so I'm not pregnant! Unless God wanted to try for a girl this time around, there is no fetus growing inside of me!"

She smiled and said, "No, it wasn't that!"

Relief. Although, why the relief when I'm not having sex!

"I had a different dream and it's one I've never dreamt of before. You were in a field and you were doing a bootcamp session. You were lifting your arms up in the air as if to stretch when all of a sudden the sky above you just opened up and this light just came right down on you."

My immediate thought was, "Great. She's dreaming that I've died. At least I get to go to heaven."

"At first I didn't know it was you because your back was facing me. And then you turned around and you looked so happy. And there was someone standing next to you that you met at bootcamp and you were introducing him to me as your fiancé! You're getting married!"

I have to admit that as stupid as that sounds, I did get a tiny shiver roll down my spine, simply because I know of that pregnancy dream of hers.

And wouldn't you know it? I just signed up for three more months of bootcamp to be held at a nearby park ...

But marriage? I guess stranger things have happened.
